The White/Green Stan Smith is the version most people picture first — white leather, green heel tab, perforated 3-Stripes. Originally introduced as a tennis shoe in the early 1970s for Stan Smith, the design has barely shifted since. The appeal is in the restraint: clean quarter panels, flat cupsole, and just enough green at the tongue and heel to break up the white upper.
This pair keeps the original formula intact with a leather upper, leather lining, and rubber cupsole. Perforated side stripes replace stitched overlays, giving the shoe its stripped-back profile. Gold Stan Smith branding sits along the lateral sidewall, while the tongue carries the familiar portrait graphic. The shape stays low and narrow through the forefoot, closer to vintage court shoes than modern padded sneakers.
Works best the way the model always has — straight-leg denim, athletic socks, fatigues, nylon track pants. The green heel tab does more than an all-white pair without pulling focus.
Runs true to size with a slightly narrow shape through the forefoot. Most customers take their standard Adidas size. Wider feet may prefer a half size up for more room across the toe box.
