The Adidas Originals Sambae arrives in Cloud White with Wonder Blue 3-Stripes and Off White accents, giving this version of the silhouette a brighter look while staying true to its indoor-soccer roots. The Sambae builds on the Samba, a design first introduced as an indoor soccer training shoe in the late 1940s, with an elevated platform sole that changes the stance without changing the profile.
A smooth leather upper is paired with a synthetic lining and finished with Wonder Blue serrated 3-Stripes and Trefoil branding. Underfoot, a durable rubber outsole provides everyday grip, while the lace-up closure and clean panel construction keep the focus on the classic T-toe design. Shoes are authentic and one of the most comfortable shoes on the market. The Zoom X provides the best cushion I have ever felt and the two zoom air bags creates a very responsive shoe. Shoes are even stable even in spite of its height and provide a complete lockdown of the foot. The only downside is ground feel because of the large stack height of the foam, but that is a sacrifice for maximum cushion.
I have wanted these shoes since I was 12 years old and I am now 48. I used my adult money to finally get them at a great price and they are all that I dreamed they would be. This is about my 12th pair of shoes that I bought from West Coast deals and they're all brand new and I have never paid more than $70 for a pair. Most of them are in the 30s.
