Adidas Campus 00s Sizing Guide: Do They Run True to Size?

The Campus 00s is one of adidas's most popular chunky suede silhouettes — so: does the Campus 00s run true to size?

We sell adidas at West Coast Deals; here's the read.

Does the Campus 00s run true to size? The short answer

Yes — true to size, and that includes wide feet. The Campus 00s is the widest, highest-volume shoe in the heritage adidas line, so it is the one model where wide-footed buyers should stay at their normal size rather than reaching for a half up. The heavy tongue padding can feel a touch snug out of the box, but the suede molds and breaks in. A high instep is the only real case for going up half a size.

How it fits

I wear a US 11 with a wider foot. True to size was good once the padded tongue settled — day one it felt snug over the top of my foot, then eased after a few wears. My width was never the issue: the Campus has a genuinely roomy toe box and real depth through the forefoot, which is the whole reason we point wide feet at this model in the first place. Telling you to size up in our roomiest shoe would defeat the point. The exception is a high instep — if the padded tongue is still pressing down after break-in, that is when half a size up helps. It fits roomier than a Samba, so if the Samba felt narrow, the Campus is the friendlier shoe.

What it is

The Campus 00s is a chunky 2000s-revival skate/campus silhouette — a suede upper on a thick gum sole. Bold, retro, and very on-trend.

Final verdict

True to size, wide feet included. A high instep is the only reason to go up half a size. Prefer a women's take? See our women's Campus 00s sizing guide. Browse the Grey/Green Campus 00s and our adidas vs adidas Originals spotlight.
