La gorra Adidas Originals Trefoil Strapback mantiene el logotipo de archivo de la marca al frente y al centro: sarga de algodón negra con un trébol bordado en blanco en la parte superior. El trébol apareció por primera vez a principios de los años 70 y sigue asociado a las piezas de Adidas Originals que provienen del catálogo anterior de la marca, en lugar de la línea de rendimiento.
Esta versión utiliza una construcción relajada de seis paneles con un ala precurvada y cierre ajustable. El logotipo frontal bordado tiene costuras en relieve, con un logotipo Trefoil adicional en la parte trasera. La construcción de algodón mantiene la forma suave en lugar de rígida, más parecida a una gorra de "papá" usada que a una gorra estructurada con cierre a presión.
