The Samba Jane takes the Samba's indoor-football roots and shifts them into a Mary Jane silhouette without losing the details that make a Samba recognizable. This pair arrives in Core Black with Off White serrated 3-Stripes and gold branding, using a leather upper and satin lining that give the shoe a different feel from the standard terrace release. The gum sole and T-toe remain intact from the original design lineage that dates back to the late 1940s.
The upper combines smooth leather with suede detailing at the toe, while a strap closure across the instep replaces the traditional full lace setup. Inside, the satin lining softens the structured feel that usually defines the Samba family. Underfoot sits a lightweight EVA layer above the familiar gum rubber outsole, keeping the low-to-the-ground profile that made the Samba an indoor training staple in the first place.
If you're deciding between this and a standard Samba OG, the fit and proportions stay close, but the Jane trades some of the original's athletic structure for a more open, lighter feel through the upper. The underlying shape remains the same narrow, almond-toe Samba platform shoppers already know.
The black leather and gum combination works particularly well with dark denim, cropped trousers, or relaxed tailoring where the Mary Jane strap becomes part of the outfit rather than just a fastening detail.
Listed in US Women's sizing. The Samba runs slightly long and narrow with an almond-shaped toe — most customers size down a half size. Wider feet may prefer their normal size. The Samba Jane keeps the standard Samba platform and fit characteristics despite the modified upper construction. Women's 8.5 converts to Men's 7.

Shoes are authentic and one of the most comfortable shoes on the market. The Zoom X provides the best cushion I have ever felt and the two zoom air bags creates a very responsive shoe. Shoes are even stable even in spite of its height and provide a complete lockdown of the foot. The only downside is ground feel because of the large stack height of the foam, but that is a sacrifice for maximum cushion.
I have wanted these shoes since I was 12 years old and I am now 48. I used my adult money to finally get them at a great price and they are all that I dreamed they would be. This is about my 12th pair of shoes that I bought from West Coast deals and they're all brand new and I have never paid more than $70 for a pair. Most of them are in the 30s.
